Do I need a boat licence to rent a boat?

No licence is required for most of our boats. Five of our six vessels — the Compass 165cc, Poseidon Blue Water 185, Poseidon Blue Water 170, Poseidon 510, and Weezie — can all be rented without any boating licence. Only our RIB Boat (90HP) requires a valid boating licence due to its engine size.

Is it safe to rent a boat in Skiathos?

Yes. All our boats are regularly serviced and come fully equipped with life jackets, safety equipment and a first aid kit. We check sea and weather conditions every morning and only send boats out when conditions are safe. You will also receive a comprehensive safety briefing before departure.

Yes, children are very welcome. We provide child-sized life jackets and all our boats are suitable for families. We recommend calm morning departures for younger children.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Your safety is our top priority. If conditions are unsafe on the day of your hire, we will contact you to reschedule or offer a full refund. We monitor sea conditions daily and will never send boats out in dangerous weather.

Fuel is charged separately and is not included in the daily hire rate. We will advise you on expected fuel costs based on your planned route before you depart.

What should I bring on the day?

We recommend bringing sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, snacks and drinks, swimwear, towels, and any medications you may need. We provide life jackets and safety equipment. A waterproof bag or dry bag is also useful.
